The Delicate

The Delicate is an intimate portrait of a surgeon in Delhi’s busiest hospital. However, early in filming, the surgeon notices the film director’s rapid weight loss and a cancer diagnosis follows. Through a lyrical account of the surgeon and the director-patient, the film explores the terrifying toll of Delhi’s raging toxicity.

Shaunak Sen

Shaunak Sen is an Academy award nominated filmmaker and scholar based in Delhi. His film, ‘All That Breathes’, received nominations at the 2023 Academy and BAFTA awards. The film won awards at Cannes, Sundance, BFI London, the APSA Screen Awards, IDA, Cinema Eye and 24 other film festivals. along with a Peabody award. Cities of Sleep (2016), his first feature-length documentary, was shown at various major international film festivals and won 6 international awards. Shaunak has received grants from Sundance, Catapult, Tribeca, IDFA, amongst others. Shaunak holds a PhD and has published in journals including Bioscope and Widescreen.

Aman Mann

Aman Mann is an Academy Award nominated film producer based in New Delhi, India. In 2020, Aman established Kiterabbit Films, together with Shaunak Sen. Their first feature length production, 'All That Breathes' premiered during the Sundance Film Festival in January 2022, winning the Grand Jury Prize in the World Cinema Documentary Competition. The film subsequently went on to win the Golden Eye Documentary prize at Cannes, a Peabody award (along with over 25 other international awards) and received Academy Award and BAFTA nominations for Documentary Feature. Aman was previously associate director on Cities of Sleep (Dir. Shaunak Sen, 2016), which played at various major international film festivals and won 6 international awards. Aman is currently developing documentaries that have received grants from Catapult, IDFA and Busan.

A five-time Emmy® winner, three-time Peabody winner. two-time BAFTA nominee and PGA nominee, his credits include The Invisible War (Oscar® nominee, Emmy® winner, Peabody winner), The Interrupters (Emmy® winner), Icarus (Oscar® winner). His feature, All That Breathes, directed by Shaunak Sen, is the only film ever to have won both the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival and Best Documentary at the Cannes Film Festival. The film received BAFTA and Oscar nominations for Best Documentary. Teddy was listed in the "100 most innovative and influential people in British creative and media industries" by the Guardian newspaper. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, BAFTA and the Producers Guild of America.

Shane Boris is an Oscar-winning and two-time Oscar-nominated film producer. He is best known for the 2022 documentary films Fire of Love and Navalny, both of which were nominated for Best Documentary Feature at the 95th Academy Awards with Navalny winning, as well as the 2020 Academy Award-nominated The Edge of Democracy, the 2021 Emmy Award-nominated The Last Cruise, and the 2016 Sundance Award-winning All These Sleepless Nights. Shane has worked as a strategist for non-profits, a writing consultant for authors, and a song lyricist for musicians. He has been a guest speaker at universities such as the Harvard Kennedy School and Columbia School of the Arts and for film programs such as the Sundance Institute and Film Independent.
